Great Clips recently won a very cool award for a very cool marketing tool that is empowering the owners of more than 4,400 franchised walk-in hair salons with a social media solution to reach customers and potential employee candidates. The Digiday Technology Award for Best Social Marketing Platform was presented to Great Clips for its Salon Social Ad Platform (SSAP). 

What’s SSAP? It’s a self-service, on-demand social ad platform that takes the guesswork out of paid social advertising for Great Clips salon owners. They are able to simplify the purchase and scheduling of Facebook and Instagram ads for multiple salons at a time with just a few clicks, while also tracking results in real-time. In the first seven months of the platform launching, more than 400 campaigns were published with a 70% greater click-through rate than the industry average and a 77% lower cost-per-click when compared to the industry average.
