NASCAR's Kasey Kahne and Brian Leffler have our Great Clips franchise owners and salon managers all revved up after a surprise appearance at our annual convention. The two popular drives were there to announce that Kasey, NASCAR's 2004 Rookie of the Year, will return to our Great Clips Racing team with Jason and will take the wheel of our #38 car in as many as eight races a season starting in 2010.
Kasey earned our first checkered flag as a primary sponsor in the Series, and "we're confident that he and Jason can become the only Nationwide-exclusive team to claim a championship," said Terri Miller, Great Clips' vice president of marketing. "We've been a high-octane sponsor in the Series since 2000, and this three-year partnership with Kasey and Braun Racing makes Great Clips one of the longest running sponsors in the industry."
And we're adding a new name to our Great Clips Racing team: Brad Sweet, United States Auto Club's (USAC) open-wheel sensation and Kahne protégé, will pilot our #90 Great Clips truck in a select number of races during the 2010 NASCAR Camping World Truck season. Brad is a veteran 23-year old who's made a name for himself driving USAC Midgets and Sprint cars.
There's no question. When it comes to high-performance marketing
and brand building, Great Clips is out front. Let's go Great Clips Racing in 2010!
