Great Clips is making it easy for you to remember and recognize a U.S. veteran in your life with our 2016 “Thank a Veteran” promotion. Just stop in for a haircut at any Great Clips in the U.S. on Friday, November 11, and you’ll receive a free haircut card to gift to a veteran. Or, if you’re a veteran, visit any U.S. Great Clips salon on Veteran’s Day to receive either a free haircut or to pick up a free haircut card to use later. (Details below* and here.)
If you follow this blog, you’ll know that this is one of the most visible ways Great Clips and franchisee salon owners give back each year to their communities. It’s a company-wide program so every Great Clips salon in the U.S. participates, often garnering the attention of national media (including Fox and Friends for the past two years), and organizations like the American Legion who partner with Great Clips to connect with local veterans.
We acknowledge the obvious: Giving away free haircuts is but a small token of appreciation for everything the men and woman in the military have done and sacrificed. But we offer it with gratefulness and admiration. Thank you to those who have served or are serving, and to the families and friends who support them.
*Everyone who comes into a U.S. Great Clips’ salon on Friday, Nov. 11, for a haircut will get a card for a free haircut to give to an active, inactive or retired member of any branch of the military, including the National Guard. The cards will be good for a haircut through Dec. 31, 2016.
Active or retired military members can also come in on Veterans Day for a free haircut or to pick up a free haircut card to use, with proof of service, any day before Dec. 31, 2016. Get more information here.)
