Great Clips Franchise Development Manager, Butch Gladden, just recruited our 75th new franchisee of the year. And, we still have another 120 days left-the last third of the year-to reach to top last year's 92 new franchisees.
Our new franchise owner is Kathryn, an executive in the pharmaceutical field. Her husband, Ray, won't be directly involved in the business because "He's keeping the neighborhood smiling, one tooth at a time, in his dental practice."
Why is Great Clips the right prescription for Kathryn's long-term goals? She and Ray "needed something else to sink their teeth into-to bring their managerial experience to the table." Kathryn has committed to open three salons, but her goal is to open six to 10 salons in the next five to eight years. That has us all grinning from ear to ear.
Yes, we're celebrating Kathryn and Ray's arrival and our 75th milestone as if we just clinched our division in Major League Baseball. There's more work to be done. But, you heard it here, by year-end we'll be popping corks and celebrating like World Series champs!
